Cogir Senior Living offers Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care lifestyle choices for modern seniors, though not all communities offer all three. Check your desired community for their service offerings.

Our age-in-place philosophy is a perfect solution for couples who have different needs but still want to stay together, as your lifestyle doesn’t have to change when one spouse requires more help.

Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by the state’s governing health office. Cogir also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.

We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance.

For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, we are committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our communities.

Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.

Cogir communities are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There are no scheduled visiting hours. However, out of respect to residents, we request visitors generally keep to an 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. visiting schedule. If visiting outside those hours, please notify our staff so we can let you in when the front doors are secured. To ensure the safety of our community, all visitors, including vendors, are required to sign in at the front desk.

Walk in anytime. Though we’d love to know you’re coming, we are always ready to greet you. You can give us a call or send an email to set up a tour ahead of time.

Yes! Cogir communities are pet-friendly and welcome residents’ dogs, cats, birds and fish. Dogs must be approved by your community’’s Executive Director, who determines acceptable pet residency. For the safety and comfort of all residents and guests, residents are responsible for their pets at all times and must adhere to the pet policy.

No. All Cogir Senior Living communities strictly follow a no-smoking policy.

Every Cogir Senior Living community offers a rich calendar of numerous opportunities for learning, creativity, exercise and spirituality. Each event is designed to keep the mind, body, heart and spirit engaged, from guest entertainers and lecturers to theater and exercise, games and classes, services, celebrations, shopping, dance and much more.

Cogir offers a variety of programs that match your individual needs. Our programs include:

• Melody & Masterpiece: Discover your inner artist and enjoy various classes
• Starlight Shows: Witness live music right before your eyes from local musicians, bands and soloists
• Memories in Motion: A heartfelt presentation highlighting residents’ life story and accomplishments. This is coordinated with the resident and their family by the lifestyle team.
• Pawsitive Health: Integrates furry friends into multiple aspects of our engagement and wellness programs
• Forever Fit: Fitness classes and exercises such as chair yoga, dance, cardio fit and strength training

Programs vary based on community

In each community, the monthly fee includes:

• Full dining, coffee, tea service and snacks
• Housekeeping
• Personal laundry
• Local transportation
• Utilities (except cable and phone)
• Full activities calendar of social and recreational programs

A community fee deposit may be required.

Cogir Senior Living offers private-pay rental apartments. Terms are month-to-month, and no “buy-in” fee is required. Please contact your desired community for current rates.
