Our age-in-place philosophy is a perfect solution for couples who have different needs but still want to stay together, as your lifestyle doesn’t have to change when one spouse requires more help.

Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by the state’s governing health office. Cogir also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.

We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance.

For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, we are committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. Our premier partnership with SafelyYou provides advanced fall detection technology. This innovative system uses real-time AI video technology and 24/7 remote clinical support to detect and help prevent falls. With consent, a camera activates in a resident’s room, recording only the moments surrounding a fall. Staff can then review the footage to understand how the fall occurred and implement measures to prevent future incidents.

Care teams regularly assess each resident’s needs and adjust services to provide the right level of support at every stage. As needs evolve, care plans are updated to reflect changes in health, mobility, or cognitive support, while maintaining a consistent and familiar environment.

At Cogir Senior Living, teams focus on continuity, communication, and personalized care. This approach helps residents remain comfortable and supported over time, and gives families confidence that care will adapt as their loved one’s needs change.

Cogir communities are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There are no scheduled visiting hours. However, out of respect to residents, we request visitors generally keep to an 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. visiting schedule. If visiting outside those hours, please notify our staff so we can let you in when the front doors are secured. To ensure the safety of our community, all visitors, including vendors, are required to sign in at the front desk.

Yes! Cogir communities are pet-friendly and welcome residents’ dogs, cats, birds and fish. Dogs must be approved by your community’s Executive Director, who determines acceptable pet residency. For the safety and comfort of all residents and guests, residents are responsible for their pets at all times and must adhere to the pet policy.

No. All Cogir Senior Living communities strictly follow a no-smoking policy.

Programs vary based on community

In each community, the monthly fee includes:

• Full dining, coffee, tea service and snacks
• Housekeeping
• Personal laundry
• Local transportation
• Utilities (except cable and phone)
• Full activities calendar of social and recreational programs

A community fee deposit may be required.
