Afra McGhie

With over ten years of dedicated experience in senior living operations, Afra McGhie serves as the Senior Vice President of Operations for Cogir Senior Living. In this role, she provides strategic leadership and oversees the operational success of the organization’s diverse West Coast portfolio, focusing on excellence in resident care.

Before joining Cogir, Afra held a variety of leadership roles, including Vice President of Operations, Regional Vice President of Operations, Regional Director of Operations, and Administrator. Her extensive background in senior living has enabled her to enhance operational efficiencies and elevate resident experiences across multiple levels of care.

Afra is a graduate of Portland State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. She also holds a culinary degree specializing in French cuisine, which informs her holistic approach to senior care by emphasizing quality, nutrition, and overall wellness.
