This establishment is simply fantastic. We moved my mom from another facility’s memory care into Acoya’s memory care area – and there is simply no comparison. Acoya’s facilities are unmatched, as they are clean, bright, well decorated, and very inviting. There are ample activities at all times too. And the entire staff is simply wonderful – ALWAYS friendly, engaging, patient and professional. They were extremely good to my mom, and they made her waning days as good as they could have ever been. They also made visitors feel very welcome, which had the effect of encouraging more visits. Here’s an added bonus. The cost was only a few hundred dollars more per month than the vastly inferior facility we move my Mom out of. I could not be more emphatic with my recommendation. This place is phenomenal.

We toured a lot of places with memory care and were very impressed with Acoya. I also have to give a special shout out to their Community Relations Director, Monica Netzel. My grandfather was having a VERY tough time understanding what was going on and started to get angry before we arrived for a tour. Monica made him feel so comfortable and welcome the entire experience that this was the only place he didn’t complain about. I couldn’t have imagined an easier experience for him to have during a really tough time and it is mainly due to Monica and complimented by the quality of the facility. I’d highly recommend you check out Acoya if you are looking for assisted living and memory care. The amenities were the nicest we saw (looked all over in Scottsdale and Fountain Hills), staff are nice, and residents were really engaged. Monica also did a great job sharing all the safety precautions they have in place which made us have a lot of confidence in the care.

As a family member of a former resident at Acoya Shea, I’ve had the opportunity to observe firsthand how truly a wonderful senior residence it is. Acoya Shea is a gorgeous new facility with top notch amenities, engaging activities, and delicious meals in a well appointed dining room. One of the highlights of my experience has been seeing the genuine connections formed between residents and staff. I would recommend this facility to everyone seeking a lively, caring , and well managed senior living community for their loved one.

I would highly recommend ACOYA Shea to anyone looking for a senior living facility. We moved my father there and he raved about the food and how nice his apartment was. It truly is a beautiful facility with numerous amenities and was a joy to visit. The staff are very attentive to residents’ needs and this is shown throughout the facility. When we were having lunch with my father I noticed the director visiting with residents to make sure they were doing OK and if they needed anything. The personalized touch of this location is what sets it apart from everyone else. When my father needed additional care they were able to adjust to his needs all the way through memory care for the highest level of care as well as hospice services. I can’t say enough about this place. It truly is a place to call home.
