Acoya Shea by Cogir offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care options for modern seniors. 

Our age-in-place philosophy is a perfect solution for couples who have different needs but still want to stay together, as your lifestyle doesn’t have to change when one spouse requires more help.

Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by Arizona’s governing health office. Acoya Shea by Cogir also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.

We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance. 

For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, we are committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our community.

Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.

We offer activity programs, arts and crafts, billiards, book clubs, card playing, exercise classes, exercise programs, game nights, indoor group activities, lectures and discussions, live entertainment, men’s groups, movie nights, piano, Tai Chi, TV (cable/satellite), wellness programs, women’s groups, and yoga.

At ACOYA Shea, you can enjoy day trips, events and outings, gardening, and outdoor group activities.

Your monthly rent will include basic cable, breakfast, dinner, housekeeping, internet/WiFi, linen service, lunch, scheduled transportation, and utilities.

Each apartment comes with air conditioning, a dishwasher, individual climate control, microwaves, a private kitchen, a private kitchenette, a refrigerator, walk-in closet, walk-in shower, washer & dryer, safety-assist bathroom, private patio, and private balcony.

At ACOYA Shea, we require staff background checks and have a secure Memory Care unit.

We offer overnight guest stays, on-site parking, guests at mealtimes, flexible visiting hours, morning visiting hours, afternoon visiting hours, and evening visiting hours.

Service animals allowed, small dogs allowed (under 25 lbs.), and cats allowed.
