What levels of care do you offer?
Bayside Terrace by Cogir offers Assisted Living and Memory Care lifestyle choices for modern seniors.
What kind of training do your care team members receive?
Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by Oregon’s governing health office. Bayside Terrace by Cogir also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.
What assistance services do you offer?
We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance.
Does our community support hearing impaired residents?
For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, we are committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our community.
Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.
What indoor activities do you offer?
We offer arts and crafts, book clubs, card playing, cooking classes, exercise classes, exercise programs, game nights, indoor group activities, intergenerational programs, lectures and discussions, live entertainment, movie nights, organized sports (indoor), a physical fitness program, piano, resident-run activities, stories, tai chi, TV (cable/satellite), Wellness programs, Wii games, and yoga.
What outdoor activities do you offer?
We offer accompanied walks, day trips, events and outings, gardening, outdoor group activities, park visits, volunteer opportunities, walking trails, and farmers market trips with our non profit group.
What services are included in the monthly rates?
Monthly rates include breakfast, lunch, dinner, housekeeping, internet/WiFi, linen service, scheduled transportation, and utilities.
What features do your rooms have?
Our rooms have air conditioning, individual climate control, microwaves, a private kitchenette, refrigerators, safety-assist bathrooms, and a walk-in shower.
What security features do you offer?
We conduct staff background checks, and have a secure memory care unit.
What are your guest policies?
We have morning flexible visiting hours in the morning, afternoon, evening. Guests are welcome during mealtimes and overnight. There is on-site parking for guests.
What is your pet policy?
All pets are welcome.
