The Staff at Cadence Huntersville has been so loving, helpful and kind to my mom, as well as to me! We had looked at a few other possibilities in the area and found that Cadence was the only center that felt most like home. My mom feels safe and cared for, she feels well known by the Staff, and has enjoyed making new friends with others who also call Cadence home. I am so grateful to feel such peace about my mom’s wellbeing and safety. I could no longer care for my mom by myself in my home when my husband got diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. I didn’t want to have to move her anywhere but as a family we decided it would be best and we want to thank all of the Staff and Leadership at Cadence for loving my mom just like we all do!

The wonderful and caring team at Cadence Huntersville helped me and my family immensely during an emotional and challenging time. Their expertise and compassion gave us the confidence we needed when moving my mama when we thought she needed assisted living, but truly needed memory care. Great place for my mom Two and a half years ago I needed to urgently find my mother a place to live after relocating her from out of state. I researched and visited literally every Assisted Living in the Lake Norman area and Cadence checked off a lot of boxes for me. The staff is outstanding. They are very attentive to her care and individual needs. Everyone is very friendly and knows her by name. There are plenty of activities that keep her engaged when she has the energy, and although she is no longer able to partake, there are regular outings for any interested residents. Communication is great, and the app they have available to allow family to stay involved is fantastic. Add to that the regular events they have for holidays that involve family members, and you will find that Cadence becomes not only part of your loved one’s family, but part of yours. The facility is always clean and well taken care of, and there have been many improvement projects completed during her time there. It is large enough to be able to provide many services, but small enough that you don’t get lost. When she has been unfortunate to get ill, transition back from the hospital or rehab was very easy given their relationship with home care companies, and OT and PT. She has been very happy with the food, despite having special food restrictions. Overall i’ve been very happy with choosing Cadence for my mother. And as a local primary care physician, I have been happy to recommend them to many of my patients
