I had Thanksgiving with my mom at Cogir at The Quarry. The buffet was beautiful with a nice variety, and tasted delicious! All the food was excellent, but what really made my experience nice with my mom was our waitress Ophelia! Her smile and way of making us feel so special made our whole experience just beautiful and festive!
Rebecka provided a wonderful and thorough tour of The Quarry. No pressure – lovely lunch. The staff couldn’t have been nicer in introducing themselves … Elizabeth, Colton and Anthony are the backbone of the dining room experience- delicious food and even better wait staff attention. The overall atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, but respectful if you are a resident who wants your space. There are so many spaces to sit with a book or a friend or a puzzle. The list of activities is impressive. The newly renovated rooms are spacious and well-appointed – lots of natural light and good kitchen space. There is nothing not to like about The Quarry!
If I make it to the age of retirement, I’d like to go here. The atmosphere seems so nice, chill while still fun and accessible for the elderly. The employees I’ve met here are very kind and seem to genuinely care for their clients. The buildings are nice and clean. I went here for an event hosted for the Best of Clark County and the venue was well-decorated. Even better, their chefs are amazing! I would definitely eat at the restaurant here if I could!

Hear from our executive director
I’ve worked in senior living since 2021 and bring a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland. I’m most passionate about walking alongside residents and ensuring they receive the highest level of care. Helping others is truly at the heart of my life—when I’m not at the community, I’m caring for young adults in my own foster care home. I also love to travel and explore new places whenever I can.
