Memory Care

My loved one is in memory care now for 10 months. The facility is top notch. The staff all cares so much about the residents and I feel so comforted in knowing he is there and being taken care of. My only concern is why they don’t get their washer and dryers fixed in memory care. Of the 10 months of having my loved one there, the washer has been broken for 8 months. The staff has to go to a different part of the facility to do laundry. When I toured the facility I loved the idea that the laundry machines were right there and there was very little chance that the residents items could be mixed up/lost etc and I didn’t have to label all of my loved ones items. It would be a lot easier for the staff also. Overall a great place tho!
I am a Hospice nurse with Aviant Hospice and have multiple patients in the facility. I can’t express the gratitude I have for the staff and how diligent they are to assist with caring for the residents. I couldn’t do it without them. it starts from the top Melissa, ED, Memory Care Supervisor, Jessica and the caregivers particularly Gail, Rachel, Jefie, Janeffer… A great and dedicated group of individuals. It’s a honor and pleasure to help you help the residents. ❤️
This is very a very large facility. Looks very nice, and many active residents. I’m not sure my mom/dad would be able to find their way around in the long hallways. Powered wheelchair is probably a must have.
Sales staff was very accommodating. We did not have an appointment, but they made time to show us around. Really loved the memory care unit arrangement. Go see it for yourself. It is worth the tour.
