Cogir of Austin Village offers Independent Living lifestyle choices for modern seniors.

Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by North Carolina’s governing health office. Cogir of Austin Village also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.

We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance.

For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, we are committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our communities.

Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.

You can enjoy the gym, hair and nail salon, exercise classes, movie theater, activity room, billiards, and ping pong.

We have raised garden beds, a greenhouse, gas fireplace, yard games, bocce ball court, and a putting green.

Your monthly rent includes all utilities, spectrum internet, spectrum wifi, weekly housekeeping, concierge van to medical appointments, activities, outings, maintenance, workout room, concierge breakfast 7 days a week, Restaurant style dinner 6 days a week, and Sunday brunch buffet. 

Our apartments include full kitchens, including dishwasher and disposal, washer and dryer in every unit, ceiling fans, granite countertops, white and brown cabinet packages, LVP flooring, ceiling fans, patio on every unit except studios, subway tile walk-in showers with grab bars, 10-foot ceilings, large windows with high-quality blinds, and carpet in the bedrooms. Our duplex units also have a screened-in porch and garage. 

All of the doors operate on a fob system and are locked 24/7. The front door is on a timer and unlocks 8 am – 6 pm. There are also cameras on the property. 

Guests are allowed, they sign in at the front desk. For guest stays longer than 7 days, our manager must approve.

Cats and dogs are allowed, it is a $500 pet fee at move in.
