What levels of care do you offer?
Cogir of Belmont offers Assisted Living lifestyle choices for modern seniors.
Our age-in-place philosophy is a perfect solution for couples who have different needs but still want to stay together, as your lifestyle doesn’t have to change when one spouse requires more help.
What kind of training do your care team members receive?
Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by California’s governing health office. Cogir of Belmont also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.
What assistance services do you offer?
We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance.
Do our communities support hearing impaired residents?
For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, we are committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our communities.
Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.
What indoor activities do you offer?
We offer activity programs, arts and crafts, book clubs, exercise classes, cooking classes, card playing, exercise programs, game nights, intergenerational programs, indoor group activities, lectures and discussions, live entertainment, meditation, men’s groups, movie nights, musical instruments, piano, resident-run activities, Tai Chi, TV (cable/satellite), wellness programs, Wii games, women’s groups, and Yoga.
What outdoor activities do you offer?
You can enjoy day trips, events and outings, gardening, organized sports (outdoor), outdoor group activities, park visits, volunteer opportunities, and walking trails.
What services are included in the monthly rates?
Your monthly rent includes basic cable, breakfast, dinner, housekeeping, lunch, scheduled transportation, and utilities.
What features do your rooms have?
Our apartments include air conditioning, a microwave, refrigerator, private patio, walk-in closet, walk-in shower, and private kitchenette.
What security features do you offer?
We have 24-hour security.
What is your guest/visitor policy?
We allow morning visiting hours, afternoon visiting hours, evening visiting hours, flexible visiting hours, guests at mealtimes, on-site parking, and overnight guests.
What is your pet policy?
Small dogs allowed (under 25 lbs.) and cats allowed.
