What levels of care do you offer?
Cogir of Folsom offers Memory Care services designed to slow the progression of dementia and Alzheimer’s, helping your loved one live a purposeful and fulfilling life.
What kind of training do your care team members receive?
Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by California’s governing health office. Cogir of Folsom also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.
What assistance services do you offer?
We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance.
Do our communities support hearing impaired residents?
For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, we are committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our communities. Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.
What indoor activities do you offer?
We offer activity programs, arts and crafts, exercise classes, indoor group activities, live entertainment, movie nights, and TV (cable/satellite).
What outdoor activities do you offer?
You can enjoy accompanied walks and gardening.
What services are included in the monthly rates?
Your monthly rent includes basic cable, breakfast, dinner, lunch, internet/WiFi, housekeeping, scheduled transportation, and utilities.
What features do your rooms have?
Our apartments include air conditioning, furnished Rooms, and individual climate control.
What security features do you offer?
We require staff background checks and have a secure Memory Care unit.
What is your guest/visitor policy?
We offer flexible visiting hours.
What is your pet policy?
No pets allowed.
