Cogir of Fremont offers Independent Living and Assisted Living lifestyle choices for modern seniors.

Our age-in-place philosophy is a perfect solution for couples who have different needs but still want to stay together, as your lifestyle doesn’t have to change when one spouse requires more help.

Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by California’s governing health office. Cogir of Fremont also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.

We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance.

For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, we are committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our communities.

Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.

We offer activity programs, arts and crafts, book clubs, card playing, cooking classes, exercise classes, exercise programs, game nights, indoor group activities, lectures and discussions, live entertainment, meditation, men’s groups, movie nights, musical instruments, organized sports (indoor), physical fitness program, piano, resident-run activities, Tai Chi, wellness programs, TV (cable/satellite), women’s groups, and Yoga.

You can enjoy events and outings, day trips, gardening, organized sports (outdoor), outdoor group activities, park visits, and volunteer opportunities.

Your monthly rent includes basic cable, breakfast, dinner, housekeeping, lunch, linen service, scheduled transportation, and utilities.

Our apartments include air conditioning, a microwave, individual climate control, private balcony, private kitchen, private outdoor area, private kitchenette, private patio, refrigerator, safety-assist bathroom, walk-in closet, and walk-in shower.

We require staff background checks and have 24-hour security.

We allow flexible visiting hours, evening visiting hours, afternoon visiting hours, morning visiting hours, on-site parking, overnight guests, and guests at mealtimes.

Cats allowed, small dogs allowed (under 25 lbs.), service animals allowed, all pets welcome, and large dogs allowed (over 25 lbs.).
