“My mom recently moved in last month and we both couldn’t be happier. She was living alone in poor health down in Los Angeles about to hit the big 80 and just feeling lonely. She finally gave me the green light to find her a place closer to me and I jumped on it. I knew the minute I stepped into Cogir that this was the place. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for, the staff are all amazing going out of their way to make sure not only my mom feels happy but me as well. The food is great, they have many activities, spiritual service on Sundays, social hours, a nice library, hair dresser, you can have a pet cat or small dog, and nice views from the apartments, some even have bay views. . My mom’s old apartment in LA had a view of a wall. Now she can look out her window and see birds hanging out in the trees and bushes. She and I both feel she is safe and well cared for.”
