What kind of training do your care team members receive?
Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by Washington’s governing health office. HomePlace at Burlington by Cogir also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.
What assistance services do you offer?
We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance.
Does your community support hearing impaired residents?
For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, we are committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our community.
Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.
What indoor activities do you offer?
We offer activity programs, arts and crafts, movie nights, men’s groups, live entertainment, lectures and discussions, book clubs, card playing, cooking classes, exercise classes, exercise programs, game nights, indoor group activities, intergenerational programs, meditation, musical instruments, organized sports (indoor), physical fitness program, piano, tesident-run activities, stories, Tai Chi, TV (cable/satellite), wellness programs, women’s groups, and Yoga.
What outdoor activities do you offer?
You can enjoy accompanied walks, events and outings, gardening, outdoor group activities, volunteer opportunities, and park visits.
What services are included in the monthly rates?
Your monthly rent includes 24/7 dining, breakfast, housekeeping, dinner, internet/WiFi, linen service, lunch, scheduled transportation, and utilities.
What features do your rooms have?
Our apartments are air conditioned, furnished, and include a safety-assist bathroom.
What security features do you offer?
We require staff background checks. We also have a security gate and secure Memory Care unit.
What is your guest/visitor policy?
We allow flexible visiting hours, on-site parking, and guests at mealtimes.
What is your pet policy?
Cats allowed, small dogs allowed (under 25 lbs.), and service animals allowed.
