Living in a rural area made it difficult to find help and the time it took to get to them in an emergency was too long. They are now in a safe environment, have caring caregivers, have the opportunity to participate in social activities and 3 meals daily. We have made their apartment as close to their home as possible and they can come and go ss they please. Ocean Ridge encourages family participation and has facilities to accommodate get togethers as well. We see mom and dad on a regular basis and feel confident in the care they are given. The staff is supportive and always open to hear concerns; they are their second family and we appreciate all that they do. My journey in senior living began in 2004 as a caregiver at Bayside Terrace, where my passion for serving older adults quickly grew.
