Cogir and American Healthcare REIT expand their relationship with the acquisition of four communities in the state of Washington

Scottsdale, AZ – Cogir Management USA, Inc. and American Healthcare REIT (“AHR”) expanded their relationship to 14 communities with AHR’s acquisition of four communities in the State of Washington.  AHR acquired Mallard Landing in Battle Ground, WA, Orchard Pointe in Port Orchard, WA, Blossom Valley in Wenatchee, WA and Blossom Creek in Wenatchee, WA on September 3, 2024.   This portfolio includes a total of 207 assisted living and memory care units.  With this acquisition, Cogir now operates communities in Washington, California, Utah and North Carolina for AHR.  Cogir also now manages 22 communities in Washington and 84 communities across the United States.  “Cogir (and Cadence Living prior to its merger with Cogir) has been a great partner of ours since 2019 and we look forward to continuing to expand our relationship with this best-in-class operator,” stated AHR Executive Vice President of Asset Management Ray Oborn.  “As an owner partner, AHR has always put its residents first in creating welcoming and engaging environments for seniors to flourish,” stated Cogir Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth, Rob Leinbach, “and we welcome the opportunity to expand our relationship with AHR especially with such holistic and community driven residences as these four in Washington.”
