What levels of care do you offer?
Peninsula Pointe by Cogir offers Assisted Living and Memory Care lifestyle choices for modern seniors.
What kind of training do your care team members receive?
Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by California’s governing health office. Peninsula Pointe by Cogir also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.
What assistance services do you offer?
We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance.
Does your community support hearing impaired residents?
For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, we are committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our communities.
Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.
What indoor activities do you offer?
We offer activity programs, arts and crafts, book clubs, card playing, cooking classes, exercise classes, exercise programs, game nights, indoor group activities, intergenerational programs, lectures and discussions, live entertainment, meditation, men’s groups, movie nights, musical instruments, physical fitness program, stories, Tai Chi, TV (cable/satellite), wellness programs, women’s groups, and Yoga.
What outdoor activities do you offer?
You can enjoy accompanied walks, day trips, events and outings, gardening, outdoor group activities, park visits, and volunteer opportunities.
What services are included in the monthly rates?
Your monthly rent includes breakfast, dinner, lunch, linen service, housekeeping, scheduled transportation, utilities, and engagement programs.
What features do your rooms have?
Our apartments include air conditioning, individual climate control, a microwave, a private kitchenette, a refrigerator, a safety-assist bathroom, walk-in shower, and Safely You.
What security features do you offer?
We have a secure Memory Care unit and video surveillance.
What is your guest/visitor policy?
We allow overnight guests, flexible visiting hours, evening visiting hours, afternoon visiting hours, morning visiting hours, guests at mealtimes, and on-site parking.
What is your pet policy?
Small dogs allowed (under 25 lbs.) and cats allowed.
