I was very isolated in my old apartment. I had friends but we would talk on the phone and sometimes they came over. I was going out less and less. When I had a car accident I had a choice after rehab assisted living or independent living. I told my senior adviser after touring Solista independent living. I am so glad I chose Solista. I feel alive again. I needed community and I got that and more. Beautiful friendships. Everyone looks out for each other. Someone to talk to whenever I want. A great and dedicated staff. Wonderful activities and parties. Many things included in the rent including house keeping weekly, utilities. I pay for WiFi 40 dollars and my own personal bills such as Verizon. I can also walk the halls to keep up my walking and one can walk to the shopping center next door for groceries if you don’t order in. There is a gym upstairs and puzzles. I have flourished in this community. I would recommend it highly. It also has services of Ot Pt and independent care givers that you can contract on premises. We also have people around or your button if you need 911. I recommend Solista High Point highly. Check it out you won’t be disappointed.
Solista has exceeded my expectations. Paige was so patient and helpful. She showed us many different apartments more than once. We decided on a one bedroom. The one bedroom has a small kitchen with a refrigerator and a sink and we added a small microwave. It has a separate living room with a nice little balcony. Also has a nice size bathroom. The residents are happy and taken care of. They care about each other. My Mom has made some really nice friends! The dining room has a fireplace and its very open and pretty. The tables are set up like a fancy restaurant. They come around and wait on you. The food is very good with lunch being the larger meal. Always with dessert and coffee. My fried chicken dinner was excellent. Also came with a salad and a roll. CorsoCare is the care company at Solista and they have been truly excellent. My Mom had a stroke and need lots of care. They have been so kind to her. They hug her and comb her hair. Help with showers and they take her to the dining room. You name it they do it! They have care plans that are customized to your needs! She has an emergency button that she wears as a necklace. It’s a convenient location with a Harris Teeter and an ABC is a very short walk away. Some residents ride there scooters to get groceries. I would recommend Solista to everyone and I would live there myself.
I had been looking for senior care for my mother, i had toured several other communities but when I walked into Solista the entire staff was warming and inviting. Paige is very warm and kind, ,she explained every step in detail and took the time to answer all my questions. Dave has done an amazing job in his community he has high expectations to ensure all of his residents are cared for, I would highly recommend this community to any family searching for their loved one.
Solista High Point is a wonderful place that truly cares about the Residents they serve. I have witnessed many of the staff going out of their way to make sure that the Residents feel seen and taken care of everyday. The Residents are fantastic at welcoming in new People and looking out for each other’s best interest. Solista is truly one of the few communities that I have been to where no one person (Staff or Residents) feels like they are superior than another. It does really feel like a community and not a facility!
This is a great place for elderly retired folks. Paige, the community sales director, is very helpful and great at her job. She goes above and beyond her job to get things done and listens to the needs of others in the Solista community!
When searching for my mom’s new home, Solista was the perfect fit! The salesperson, Paige, went above and beyond to explain everything to us, gave us tours (in person and virtually), worked with our time line and was able to offer the first month free. She is always at the facility mingling with the residence and offering assistance. My mom’s studio apartment has been updated and she loves it!! Our family likes knowing she is happy, independent but still around others her age and taken care of. Absolutely would recommend this facility to anyone looking for their parent.

Hear from our executive director
With four years in senior living, I’m most passionate about our residents and committed to treating each person like family. My love for healthcare naturally led me to caring for seniors, and it’s become the work that brings me the most joy. Outside the community, I’m a lifelong sports fan who spent years coaching. I also cherish time with my kids and our dog, Kubby, who keeps us all laughing.
