Solista Yakima offers Independent Living lifestyle choices for modern seniors.
What kind of training do your care team members receive?
Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by Washington’s governing health office. Solista Yakima also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.
Do our communities support hearing impaired residents?
For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, our community is committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our communities.
Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.
What indoor activities do you offer?
We offer activity programs, arts and crafts, book clubs, card playing, exercise classes, indoor group activities, lectures and discussions, live entertainment, movie nights, organized sports (indoor), piano, resident-run activities, Tai Chi, and Yoga.
What outdoor activities do you offer?
At Solista Yakima, we offer day trips, events and outings, gardening, outdoor group activities, park visits, and walking trails.
What services are included in the monthly rates?
Your monthly rent includes basic cable, breakfast, dinner, housekeeping, internet/WiFi, linen service, lunch, scheduled transportation, utilities, activities/excursions* *depends on the excursion.
What features do your rooms have?
Our apartments include air conditioning, dishwasher, individual climate control, private balcony, private kitchenette, refrigerators, walk-in closet, walk-in shower, and walk-in tub.
What security features do you offer?
We have a secure building with resident access after hours.
What is your guest/visitor policy?
We offer flexible visiting hours, overnight guests allowed, guests at mealtimes, and on-site parking for guests.
What is your pet policy?
Cats allowed, small dogs allowed (under 25 lbs.), large dogs allowed (over 25 lbs.), and service animals allowed.
