What levels of care do you offer?
The Bellingham at Orchard by Cogir offers Memory Care services designed to slow the progression of dementia and Alzheimer’s, helping your loved one live a purposeful and fulfilling life.
What kind of training do your care team members receive?
Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by Washington’s governing health office. The Bellingham at Orchard by Cogir also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.
What assistance services do you offer?
We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance.
Do our communities support hearing impaired residents?
For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, our community is committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our communities.
Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.
What indoor activities do you offer?
We offer activity programs, arts and crafts, book clubs, card playing, cooking classes, exercise classes, exercise programs, live entertainment, men’s groups, movie nights, musical instruments, piano, stories, Tai Chi, TV (cable/satellite), Wii games, women’s groups, and Yoga.
What outdoor activities do you offer?
At The Bellingham at Orchard, you can enjoy accompanied walks, day trips, events and outings, gardening, organized sports (outdoor), outdoor group activities, and park visits.
What services are included in the monthly rates?
Your monthly rent includes breakfast, dinner, lunch, housekeeping, internet/WiFi, linen service, scheduled transportation, laundry services, and unlimited snacks and beverages.
What features do your rooms have?
Our apartments are furnished and include individual climate control, safety-assist bathroom, walk-in shower, air conditioning, and private outdoor area.
What security features do you offer?
We require staff background checks and have 24-hour security and a secure Memory Care unit.
What is your guest/visitor policy?
We offer flexible visiting hours, mealtime visiting, and on-site parking.
What is your pet policy?
Cats allowed and small dogs allowed (under 25 lbs.).
