I toured several facilities before deciding on Where the Heart is, and after touring the facility, my mind was made up! It was such a difficult decision to decide to have my mom live in an assisted facility, but the staff at Where the Heart is truly cares about her and helped make the transition go smoothly. I was immediately impressed by the people that I talked with. Their care when talking to me about my mom was very comforting. They were very informative and took their time with me and showed me the facility. I was very impressed with the layout and the people that I could see taking care of others who were living there now. The rooms and small one bedroom apartments are very welcoming and each of them seems to have a peaceful view and beautiful. I am pursuing securing a place for my mom with them and I have high hopes for the care that was described an exhibited to me yesterday.
