Where the Heart is by Cogir offers Assisted Living and Memory Care lifestyle choices for modern seniors. 

Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by Washington’s governing health office. Where the Heart is by Cogir also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.

We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance.

For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, our community is committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our communities.

Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.

We offer activity programs, arts and crafts, card playing, cooking classes, exercise classes, exercise programs, game nights, indoor group activities, intergenerational programs, lectures and discussions, live entertainment, meditation, men’s groups, movie nights, musical instruments, physical fitness program, piano, resident-run activities, stories, Tai Chi, TV (cable/satellite), wellness programs, wii games, women’s groups, and Yoga.

At Where the Heart Is by Cogir, we offer accompanied walks, events and outings, gardening, outdoor group activities, park visits, volunteer opportunities, walking trails, and day trips.

Your monthly rent will include basic cable, breakfast, dinner, housekeeping, lunch, linen service, utilities, scheduled transportation, internet/WiFi, and strong internet/WiFi in some apartments and common areas.

Each apartment comes with air conditioning, individual climate control, microwaves, private kitchenette, refrigerators, safety-assist bathroom, and a walk-in shower.

At Where the Heart Is by Cogir we require staff background checks, 24-hour security, security gate, secure memory care unit, outside video cameras, and locked doors.

We offer flexible visiting hours, guests at mealtimes, on-site parking for guests, and overnight guest stays.

Yes, we allow cats and small dogs (under 25 lbs.).
