Cogir Cares: Over 7,000 Cans Donated to Local Food Banks in November

Scottsdale, AZ – Cogir Senior Living has once again demonstrated its commitment to giving back through the company’s Cogir Cares initiative. Throughout the month of November, Cogir communities across the country came together to collect canned goods for local food banks, culminating in an extraordinary donation of over 7,000 cans to help families in need during the holiday season.

This initiative was part of Cogir’s ongoing effort to foster a sense of community, purpose, and connection among its residents, team members, and surrounding neighborhoods. Residents enthusiastically participated by designing decorative collection boxes, which were displayed throughout the community and in the lobbies of local vendors. Communities like Solista Orem and Cogir of Brentwood demonstrated remarkable success, each collecting over 1,000 cans through this meaningful project.

The more than 7,000 cans collected will directly support local food banks, providing essential resources to individuals and families facing food insecurity.
