Cogir is proud to officially announce today the launch of its Foundation in the United States, a distinct entity strongly inspired by the Canadian model and guided by the same core values: human focus, creativity, and excellence.

The U.S. Foundation’s mission is to make a positive and tangible difference in the lives of youth and seniors by supporting initiatives that truly enhance their daily lives. Through targeted actions and a structured approach to grant making, the Foundation aims to maximize the impact of every contribution and support meaningful projects at the heart of the communities where Cogir operates.

The Foundation will focus its efforts on causes that promote enriching educational experiences and active lifestyles for youth, as well as the maintenance of physical and mental health and social well-being for seniors. Supported initiatives will be selected based on their reach, measurable impact, and ability to positively transform the daily lives of beneficiaries.

Like its Canadian counterpart, the U.S. Foundation will establish a grant committee responsible for reviewing applications and selecting the projects to be supported. It also plans to organize fundraising initiatives to engage partners, employees, and communities around shared causes.

With this launch, Cogir reaffirms its commitment to creating unique living environments where everyone can thrive and be happy across North America—and to extending this vision beyond its properties and into the very heart of the community.
