Of all the factors you should consider when researching homes for independent living, maybe the most important (and the most overlooked) is the vital role that music plays in any senior living community.
Anyone who owns a pet knows how rewarding it can be. From the wet nose “kiss” of a cat to the head-to-toe wag of a dog, to cuddles at bedtime, the unconditional love and companionship of a pet can’t be beat.
Independent Living. Assisted Living. You hear these terms regularly in the senior living world. But what do they mean? And what is the difference between independent living and assisted living, anyway?
Memories are a big part of who we are. Memories provide us with true connections to our past and to each other.
The only way to shed light on darkness is to illuminate it. And that’s what we plan to do later this month, as our communities participate in “The Longest Day.”
