Cogir of Santa Fe offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care lifestyle choices for modern seniors.

Our age-in-place philosophy is a perfect solution for couples who have different needs but still want to stay together, as your lifestyle doesn’t have to change when one spouse requires more help.

Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by New Mexico’s governing health office. Cogir of Santa Fe also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.

We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance.

For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, we are committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our community.

Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.

At Cogir of Santa Fe, residents can enjoy a variety of indoor activities designed to keep them active, creative, and connected. Activities include yoga, weight training, seated exercise, pet therapy, arts and crafts, painting, knitting, Bridge, Mahjong, Bingo, and board games. Residents can also enjoy live entertainment, concerts, happy hours with cocktails, mocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and performances with the Cogir Singers Choir. We also offer special events and celebrations throughout the year, including holidays, birthdays, and celebrations of life. Monthly programming includes tours of the library and visits featuring artifacts from the Indian Arts Museum.

Residents can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and outings, including scenic drives on Sundays, weekly shopping trips, and transportation to church. Residents can also spend time outdoors in our courtyard, which features a walking path, gazebo, and comfortable seating. Courtyard activities include special events and outdoor Bingo, providing plenty of opportunities to enjoy the fresh air and connect with neighbors.

The monthly rates at Cogir of Santa Fe include a variety of services and amenities designed to make daily life more comfortable and convenient. Rates include utilities such as water, gas, electricity, sewer, and garbage, as well as TV and internet. Residents also enjoy chef-prepared meals, housekeeping, laundry services, and access to a 24/7 call system with nursing and emergency response. Additional amenities include pet-friendly living and an onsite salon and barber shop.

Residents enjoy spacious, apartment-style homes available in studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom layouts. Depending on the apartment, kitchens may include a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher, while others feature a kitchenette or a refrigerator without a stove or dishwasher. Each apartment has its own HVAC system for personalized heating and cooling, spacious walk-in closets, and a walk-in shower with a built-in bench.

Residents can enjoy peace of mind with a variety of security features designed to support a safe and secure community. These include camera security, a coded entrance, a front desk concierge, and locked community doors after 8:00 p.m. Each apartment has a keyed entry, and resident sign-in and sign-out procedures help the team keep track of who is coming and going.

Visitors are welcome at Cogir of Santa Fe. All guests and vendors are asked to sign in at the front desk upon arrival and receive a visitor or vendor badge while they are in the community.

Cogir of Santa Fe is a pet-friendly community and welcomes friendly, non-aggressive dogs that are kept on a leash. Pets must have up-to-date vaccination records, and a monthly pet fee applies.
