What levels of care do you offer?
Cogir of Tigard offers Assisted Living and Memory Care lifestyle choices for modern seniors.
Our age-in-place philosophy is a perfect solution for couples who have different needs but still want to stay together, as your lifestyle doesn’t have to change when one spouse requires more help.
What kind of training do your care team members receive?
Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by Oregon’s governing health office. Cogir of Tigard also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.
What assistance services do you offer?
We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance.
Does your community support hearing impaired residents?
For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, we are committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our community.
Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.
What indoor activities do you offer?
We offer activity programs, arts and crafts, billiards, book clubs, card playing, cooking classes, exercise classes, exercise programs, game nights, lectures and discussions, live entertainment, meditation, indoor group activities, intergenerational programs, men’s groups, movie nights, musical instruments, organized sports (indoor), physical fitness program, piano, resident-run activities, Tai Chi, TV (cable/satellite), wellness programs, Wii games, women’s groups, and Yoga.
What outdoor activities do you offer?
You can enjoy accompanied walks, cycling, day trips, events and outings, gardening, organized sports (outdoor), outdoor group activities, park visits, volunteer opportunities, and walking trails.
What services are included in the monthly rates?
Your monthly rent includes 24/7 dining, basic cable, breakfast, dinner, housekeeping, internet/WiFi, lunch, scheduled transportation, and utilities.
What features do your rooms have?
Our apartments include air conditioning, a dishwasher, furnished rooms, individual climate control, a microwave, private balcony, private kitchen, private kitchenette, private outdoor area, private patio, refrigerator, safety-assist bathroom, walk-in shower, and washer & dryer.
What security features do you offer?
We require staff background checks. Additionally, we have 24-hour security, a secure Memory Care unit, and a fab system that records all guest who enter auxiliary doors and past business hours.
What is your guest/visitor policy?
We allow morning visiting hours, afternoon visiting hours, evening visiting hours, flexible visiting hours, guests at mealtimes, on-site parking, and overnight guests.
What is your pet policy?
Cats allowed, service animals allowed, small dogs allowed (under 25 lbs.), large dogs allowed (over 25 lbs.), and all pets welcome.
