Our age-in-place philosophy is a perfect solution for couples who have different needs but still want to stay together, as your lifestyle doesn’t have to change when one spouse requires more help.

Our Care Partners are certified caregivers. They are required to complete the approved training program as mandated by Virginia’s governing health office. The Virginian also provides ongoing training monthly and as needed.

We can assist residents with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, grooming and dining. Each resident will receive a personalized service plan that details their care and is regularly updated to meet evolving needs. For example, some of our residents require general oversight and reminders, while others need various levels of care and assistance.

For prospects or residents who are hearing impaired, we are committed to offering appropriate accommodations to make their experience seamless and successful. These may include providing a translator during tours, utilizing virtual interpreter services, message boards, or other interventions that will help ensure that they feel welcomed, understood, and supported in our communities.

Our priority is always to uphold the dignity of those we serve and to make sure that everyone, regardless of ability, has full access to the care and comfort they deserve.

We offer activity programs, arts and crafts, book clubs, card playing, cooking classes, exercise classes, exercise programs, game nights, indoor group activities, intergenerational programs, lectures and discussions, live entertainment, meditation, men’s groups, movie nights, musical instruments, organized sports (indoor), physical fitness program, piano, resident-run activities, stories, Tai Chi, TV (cable/satellite), wellness programs, Wii games, women’s groups, and Yoga.

You can enjoy accompanied walks, day trips, events and outings, organized sports, outdoor group activities, park visits, volunteer opportunities, and walking trails.

Your monthly rent includes basic cable, breakfast, dinner, housekeeping, internet/WiFi, linen service, lunch, scheduled transportation, and utilities.

Our apartments include air conditioning, a dishwasher, furnished rooms, individual climate control, a microwave, a private balcony, private kitchen, private kitchenette, private outdoor area, private patio, refrigerator, safety-assist bathroom, walk-in closet, walk-in shower, washer & dryer, California closets, crown molding, Bosche appliances, and concierge flood.

We require staff background checks, have 24-hour security, a secure Memory Care Unit, and 24-hour staffing.

We allow overnight guests, on-site parking, guests at mealtimes, and flexible visiting hours.

Cats allowed, small dogs allowed (under 25 lbs.), service animals allowed, and all pets are welcome.
