I am thankful for the eight years I have lived here. I feel safe and appreciated by our caring and helpful staff.

My husband and I were heading to another senior living home we visited by appointment. As we were driving, we saw open house balloons at Solista Durham senior living. My husband and I decided after visiting the other home we would stop and see what Solista Durham is about. It was the greatest decision we made that day. The community relations director Bryan Bugazzoli greeted us with a warm smile and gracious words of welcome. The minute he spoke we felt like he became our best friend. We sat in his office and there was a great connection from the start, because we are all from New York and we talked like we were family and not clients. We were free to ask questions and concerns and he answered every one of them with confidence and security. We went on a tour of the apartment homes and they were clean, fresh smelling and perfect for the needs of my husband’s mother. It was amazing to see the robots taking dinner orders in the dining room. The place looks like a grand hotel. The activities, beauty salon and transportation to go where she needs to go. This place had everything we were looking for. Bryan is very respectful of his community. We did not go up into the dining area, we looked from afar while everyone was eating. I appreciated his dedication to them. My husband and I decided this is the place for his mom. The next step was to get her over here to see what we saw and felt. Again, Bryan was there the next day to greet my Husband and his mother. I was not there on this tour. Let me tell you I heard Bryan went above and beyond to make my mother-in-law feel heard and why she should consider becoming a part of this community. I heard the community gathered around her and talked with her and advised her. It is one of the most heart-warming gestures I have ever heard. Bryan let my mother-in-law see the apartment again. He was very patient with her. My husband and I want to thank Bryan, for making this next chapter in my husband’s mother’s life less stressful, but meaningful in planning for her next journey in life. Thanks again Bryan you’re the BEST!!!

My mother and I toured Solista of Durham recently, We had a memorable experience, from the moment we walked in we were greeted by the sales person and team, the residents looked so happy and welcoming. Clean, great activities my mother would enjoy. We even had a complimentary lunch the food was amazing. While eating my mom and I talked, she said this feels like home! What more can a son want for his mother, she will be moving in May 1st.

Solista Durham is a the last place you’ll need to tour! By far the best option for independent living around. Beautiful, clean apartments and very homey. Great fun & amenities available! Great people in this building, everyone very friendly and welcoming! Stop in and see Bryan for a tour! You won’t regret it!

Wanting to relocate my brother to an independent apartment facility. Worked with Andrea to determine if this was a good fit for him. She is fantastic! I don’t live local, so it was phone calls and emails. She was patient in answering my many questions and getting back to me quickly. We setup a time for me and my brother to visit. Andrea meet with us, getting to know my brother, showed us the apt and the rest of a facility. We enjoyed lunch in the dining room. During our visit we meet many other employees who were just as professional and pleasant. Also meet several residents who spoke very positive of the facility. Andrea then went above and beyond to ensure my brother’s needs would be met. During his move in, Angie was extremely helpful. One of the things that stood out most to me was that the staff is so approachable! Residents came up to ask or tell them something while we were there and the staff would patiently speak with them. My mil was in several places (5). I didn’t see that at any of them. Thank you Andrea and Angie and others! I sleep better at night knowing my brother is in a much better place!

Had an incredible time moving a sweet lady in! With the help, kindness and generosity of Jason, i couldn’t be happier for her to live there. Jason was helpful and treated everyone equally and with care. He radiates positivity, that spreads across the building and puts smiles on everyone’s faces around him. We couldn’t thank him enough. She’s in great hands.
